USES

Construction & Building Materials

Used in mortar, plaster, whitewash, and soil stabilization for enhanced strength, plasticity, and durability. Reacts with carbon dioxide over time to form Calcium Carbonate, contributing to hardened structures. Essential in autoclaved aerated concrete (AAC) and other engineered construction materials.

Manufacturing Process

Raw Material Preparation

High-quality Quicklime (CaO) derived from pure limestone is selected as the primary input. It is tested for available CaO content, reactivity, and impurity levels before processing.

Controlled Hydration

The quicklime is subjected to hydration (slaking) in a controlled reactor system. Water is added in precise proportion, generating heat and forming hydrated lime according to the reaction: CaO + H₂O → Ca(OH)₂ + Heat

Milling and Classification

The freshly slaked lime is cooled, milled, and classified to achieve desired fineness and particle size distribution.
